JARUN PAN-ONTA

(b. 1975)
Jarun Pan-onta explores the interconnected nature of existence
through intricately detailed compositions that merge humans, animals,
and the cosmos. His work reflects on the idea that the universe
is born from emptiness4small particles fusing together to create
worlds, only to eventually dissolve back into nothingness. At the heart
of his composition, a monkey with a human body represents the
restless, ever-wandering nature of the human mind, while surrounding
creatures4whales, elephants, birds, and cats4coexist as a
singular entity, gradually dispersing into cosmic fragments.
A hallmark of Jarun9s technique is his ability to weave human
figures into every element, embedding them within the fabric
of all existence. Each detail is meticulously rendered, inviting
viewers to observe how humanity is interwoven into every
aspect of life and the universe. In this particular work, he
introduces an earth-toned blue for the first time, carefully
chosen to enhance the celestial theme, reinforcing the
connection between the stars, the universe, and our world. His
profound attention to color and form ensures that every stroke
carries meaning, making his work a testament to the delicate
balance between creation and dissolution.
