This drawing by Chalermchai Kositpipat is
a masterful display of technical finesse and
spiritual depth. t con eys a sense of calm
and meditati e stillness through the
integration of traditional Thai drawing
techni ues which re uire an e ceptional
le el of delicacy and precision. The
composition is structured around a
triangular formation symboli ing a strong
foundation and faith in asserti e
Buddhism. The artwork was created
before his pi otal period of artistic self
disco ery in London where he went to
paint the traditional Thai mural at the
Buddhapadipa temple.
This piece has been preser ed by a foreign
collector and comes with a certificate of
authenticity signed by the artist. The winning
bidder will also recei e a rare book featuring
of Chalermchai s traditional Thai line
drawings curated and published by lrich
agorski former erman cultural ambassador
to Thailand. This was the first monograph
on the artist s work and is now considered
a rare item.
