n this work Tawee Nandakwang con eys an atmosphere that in ites the iewer to
e perience a sense of idealism as if reflecting a calm and meditati e inner state. This
is the result of the artist s years of e perience and artistic practice. He chooses a
palette of cool tones to depict a moody dri ly scene e oking the gentle and peaceful
atmosphere of a rainy day. The composition is structured with a uni ue rhythm. The
artwork guides the iewer s eye through the image ia cur ed lines of grass in the
naturally blended foreground and hori ontal elements. en though the piece is
depicted in a realistic style all the details uietly build up such a surreal sense. n this
simplicity truly lies the depth of emotion and sensiti ity.
