This work by Kiatanan depicts characters that ha e been styli ed with unusual forms and infused with cartoon like ualities. There
is also a clear separation between an o ersi ed figure dominating the scene and minor characters scattered throughout the
composition. The artist intentionally addresses the theme of power. He aims to criti ue the imbalance in Thai society in which
the weak are often e ploited by those in positions of greater power wealth or social status. n his practice Thai traditional mural
painting has significantly inspired him especially the use of hellish scenes to raise the iewer s awareness. With his distincti e
approach the artwork marks such a remarkable impression.
