Sompot Upa-in9s artistic practice was influenced by various Western art movements, including Abstract Art, Semi-Abstraction, and Cubism. This
work conveys a profound and atmospheric quality, with an intriguing female figure emerging in the foreground, depicted through surreal anatomy
and distinctive brushstrokes. It belongs to the final body of work created before the artist9s passing in 2014. The work reflects upon the realm of life
after death through a dreamlike atmosphere. With its accomplished integration of form and content, together with the artist9s exceptional technical
skill, Sompot Upa-in9s works have earned recognition both in Thailand and internationally, and have been widely presented in art museums around
the world.
