The balance of forms and volume, articulated through harmonious lines
and elegant curves, is expressed through the refined vision of a sculptor
who was among the pioneers of abstract art in Thailand. Curve of Nude
belongs to Chamruang9s transitional period towards abstraction, when he
began to move beyond anatomical realism and conventional muscular
proportions, distilling the female form to the essential qualities of form
and volume. This process gives rise to a profound sense of imagination,
thought, and emotion, evoked through the abstract forms that unfold
before the viewer.
