Natee Utarit, an internationally acclaimed Thai artist, is distinguished by
his creation of artworks imbued with profound and layered meanings. This
oil-on-board painting belongs to his early body of work, created following
his graduation from Silpakorn University. In this period, Natee explored the
human form anew, drawing inspiration from children9s drawings and German
Expressionism. This work thus represents an important starting point in
his exploration of form through the language of painting, which would
later become a defining direction in his artistic practice.
